Gerbong

Kami memasuki gerbong yang sama pada masa itu. Gerbong dengan kecepatan melaju yang cukup kencang. Kata orang, gerbong paling belakang akan lebih terasa sekali goncangannya dan kami berada di gerbong paling ujung itu. Di sini semua orang berlalu lalang ke sana kemari. Semuanya bergerak. 

Awan panas, penuh keringat maupun hujan deras telah memayungi sejauh panjang perjalanan. Di sini, segala macam cuaca berlangsung.

Dua masa telah terlewati. Begitu singkat. Begitu cepat. Kali ini pun, seperti rel yang terkadang berpindah jalur, maka inilah saatnya. Stasiun sudah tampak. Pemberhentian telah tiba dan satu jengkal lagi usai pemberhentian ini, stasiunku telah menunggu.
